Varsity Baseball Subdues Tigers

Varsity baseball hosted Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy on Blue Diamond Field on 2/26/20. Despite the eventual rainy weather conditions, the Pirates triumphed over the Tigers, winning 7-3.

Despite only producing one run in the first inning, the Pirates began pulling away in the second inning thanks to hits by Michael Mangieri and Aidan Heaney. The team went on to tally 3 more runs in the fifth. The crucial inning was driven by a single by Casey Richey and a double by Zander Beare.

Pitcher Travis Camp secured the win for the Pirates by going 6 innings, allowing three runs on nine hits, striking out six, and walking one.


Next game is at home on 2/27/20 versus Covenant Christian School, starting at 4:00 PM.
