Thrilling Battle Produces Win for Varsity Girls Lacrosse

The varsity girls lacrosse team traveled to Merritt Island on 2/28/20, to face Edgewood High School. A riveting competition until the end, the game was tied or led by a one-point separation throughout most of the contest. With 17 seconds left on the clock, a score by Hailey Rhymes ensured the victory for the Lady Pirates by bringing the final tally to 13-12.

Scoreboard highlights for the Lady Pirates: Raleigh Cooper - 4 goals, 3 assists; Hailey Rhymes - 4 goals; Catalina Pratt - 3 goals, 2 assists; Savanna Ware - 2 goals; Bridget Nelson - 3 assists and Izzy Jennings (goalie) - 6 saves.
