Be An Angel for HALO
Pirates, HALO is conducting a fun volunteer opportunity for any age, and it's especially helpful during this time of quarantine.
Jan Howington says, "HALO No-Kill Rescue has created a fundraiser where a person submits to us a picture of their pet (cats, dogs, horses and we have even had a pig) and we ask an "artist of various talents" to paint, draw, sketch, digitally design their rendition of the pet, which is then displayed on social media and sent to the pet parent. For each pet that is recreated, the pet owner gives a donation of $20 to HALO." This is a great activity for students and staff of any age.
