Info About Sixth Grade Flag Football

Dear Parents,

As mentioned in our previous notification regarding Middle School Football at Saint Edward’s, we will be providing sixth graders an opportunity to play flag football. We are excited to announce that John Colontrelle ’96 has offered to coach our sixth graders this fall as they compete in the Indian River Recreation Department Flag Football League.

The practices will begin sometime in mid-August. League games start right after Labor Day and are slated to run through the first week in November. The team will play an eight-game schedule and Coach Colontrelle plans on practicing three times per week. The associated fee is $35.00 per player.

If interested, please contact John Colontrelle at johncolontrelle@hotmail.com. He will answer any questions you may have and coordinate the paperwork for registering with the Indian River Recreation Department Flag Football League. Please note the deadline for registration is July 31st. As such, Coach Colontrelle would appreciate you contacting him as soon as possible in order to appropriately plan for the upcoming fall season.

Best regards,
