MS Figurative Language Fun

After reviewing eight kinds of figurative language, sixth-grade English students had fun creating memes depicting them. They also loved viewing each other's creations and determining which figure of speech they represented. Going forward, they will learn new kinds of figurative language to add to their repertoire of literary special effects.  [eNews: click on the headline for more examples of figurative language.]
