September: Suicide Prevention & Awareness Month
September is National Suicide Prevention & Awareness Month. The Child Mind Institute has several helpful articles about teen risk factors and signs of depression in teens. Take a moment to read these informative articles. The more we all know and understand about adolescent mental health, the better off our entire Pirate community will be! Students in the Upper School will also be able to join the Active Minds club to raise awareness about the challenges of mental health in young people.
