Varsity Volleyball Soars Over Master's Academy
On 9/21/20, the varsity volleyball team took on Master's Academy of Vero Beach on the road. The Lady Pirates clinched a solid win over the Lady Patriots in 3 straight sets: 25-7, 25-23, 25-23.
The first set was a serving exhibition for the girls. Alexa Soderman served up 7 aces in the match, while teammates Elliotte Kahler, Meredith Burgoon and Alice Grace Lockwood had 3 aces apiece.
Soderman and Burgoon also demonstrated great defense in the match-up with 12 digs each. On offense, Soderman led the team in kills with 9 and Lockwood also contributed 5. Helping her team along to victory, Kahler had 14 assists for the night.
