The Gridded Portrait Project

Ms. Sherrier (lk)
The Task: seventh and eighth grade created grids to guide them as they drew self-portraits.
Students took their own photos and then created a one-inch grid on the photo and a piece of drawing paper. The grid helps to split the photo up into sections to make the task of copying it easier. Shape and shadow are key! Some students chose to erase their grids and some kept them. We hope you enjoy our work!
