Varsity Girls Basketball Overpowers Lady Bulldogs

The varsity girls basketball team faced larger public school South Fork High School of Stuart on the road on 1/13/21. Being outnumbered and competing in a hostile environment didn't stop the Lady Pirates from playing hard on the court. Despite being down early on, the team rallied and fought back, ultimately pulling out the 44-36 win over the Lady Bulldogs.

Leading the way for the Lady Pirates was Raina Duggal with 25 points, which includes three 3-point goals. Scoring by Alexa Soderman (8 points), Chase Nelson (4 points), and Dhanika Perez (4 points) helped propel the Lady Pirates to victory. Karis Crookshank was 100% from the free-throw line for 2 points, and Gaby Collazo added 1 point to the Lady Pirate team's triumphant night.

Next game is at home on 1/19/21 versus Master's Academy of Vero Beach, starting at 5:30 PM.
