MS Girls Lacrosse Vanquishes Lady Knights in 7v7 Game

The middle school girls lacrosse took to the road for their 7v7 game at The Pine School in Hobe Sound. The Lady Pirates proved their skills on the field, collecting their first 5 goals before the first water break. In the second half, the Lady Pirates continued to fight their way to victory. With the Lady Pirates up by one, the Lady Knights scored with one minute left to tie the game. In a thrilling conclusion, the Lady Pirates made the last go to goal with 30 seconds remaining on the clock, and they triumphantly defeated the Lady Knights 19-18.

Leading the scoreboard for the Lady Pirates were Nico Kennedy and Leah Chin. Teammates Anna Marie Zugrave and Lilli Hagemeier secured their first goals of the season for the Lady Pirate team. Piper McCollom proved crucial at goal, stopping shot after shot; and Jenessa Kendall and Maddie Brown provided a solid defensive effort for the team.

 
Next game is an 11v11 away game on 2/25/21 at South County Park in Vero Beach versus Indian River Middle Schools, starting at 4:00 PM.
