Fifth Graders Prepare to Take the Leap

MJ (lk)
Fifth graders in the Lower School have been quietly preparing to make the leap to Middle School over the last few weeks. Mrs. Murphy spends time with them on tours, in chats and introducing them to some of the teachers who will become important leaders in their middle school lives. We understand that parents have their own questions about the biggest transition since kindergarten, so we created a series of videos that take the guesswork out of sixth grade and, we hope, help everyone feel just a little more confident about the days ahead.

This week we kick off this video series with Mrs. Murphy's introduction to the Middle School video, and over the next month we'll release a video a week that highlights everything from interdisciplinary learning to athletics. Feel free to share these videos with friends who may be interested in the middle school experience, and, as always, if you have any questions, we're just a phone call or email away.
