Scenes from the Middle School Science Labs

(lk)
Mr. Leonhardt's science students have been very busy lately!  Seventh graders are learning about invertebrates and recently completed an invertebrate identification lab. They identified both preserved and live specimens and which group they fit into (Mollusk, Porifera, Cnidarian, Echinoderm, Worms, or Arthropods), and they described the characteristics used for identification. This was followed by a squid dissection lab. Hands-on learning at its best! Please click on READ MORE to see more photos.
