Habitat for Humanity Volunteer Opportunities

(lk)
Habitat for Humanity of Indian River County has graciously given us a number of volunteer workdays for our students and some adults to provide "sweat equity" for future homeowners.  We meet on the following Saturdays: 9/25, 10/16, 12/11, 1/15. 2/12, 3/12 and 4/16 from 7:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.  Students will earn 4 1/2 hours towards their community service graduation requirement.  Students must be sixteen years or older and will need to sign a waiver.   We are limited to ten students and two adults each Saturday. This is a great experience to do good in our community--to give someone "a hand up and not a handout," as Habitat puts it. Dr. Hurley has made signing up a breeze:
