New Faculty/Staff Spotlight: Meet Kristi Schofield, LS Counselor

Kristi comes to our school community from the Indian River County School District where she served as a School Counselor. Prior to that position, she taught second through fourth grades. She also taught Language Arts and Science at Jones Fork Elementary School in Kentucky to 3/4 and 4/5 grade split classes. Kristi is currently pursuing her master’s degree in school counseling, and she has a BS in elementary education. Some of her content training includes, but is not limited to, Sanford Harmony Suicide Prevention, Promoting Developmentally Appropriate Transitions for Young Children in Care, Restorative Justice Practices and Trauma Informed Practices. We are looking forward to having Kristi on board this year!
