Pirate Alumna and Mom Tori Barnett Addresses MS/US Chapels

MJ (lk)
Class of 2000 Pirate Tori Barnett was the guest speaker at both the middle and upper school chapels this week (in between substitute teaching in the Lower School!). Using Psalm as the foundation of her address, she shared some valuable words of wisdom discovered through her own growth and faith.

She implored the students to believe two things: (1) You are a beloved child of God and (2) You were designed on purpose, with a purpose. She shared that when young people accept these precepts, questions like "Who am I" and "What makes up ME?" become easier to answer. She challenged the students to take a moment of silence to figure out who they are and begin to think about their own personal journey and what to say "yes" to in their lives.

Thank you, Mrs. Barnett for your time and wisdom. We all love having you back on campus!
