Washington DC Trip Through Olivia's Eyes

MJ (lk)
Eighth-grade student Olivia Stovall shared her thoughts about the recent middle school trip to Washington, DC. Great job, Olivia, and thanks for sharing your insights with the community!

The DC Trip included many historical, emotional and comedic moments. From hotel roommates and bus rides to museums like the African American Museum and the Holocaust Museum, I have many memories from the DC Trip that I'll never forget. Our tour guides, Stephen and Robin, were very patient and fun to be around, and our fantastic bus driver, Bryan, was super friendly to meet! One of the crowd favorites was the change of the guard at the Arlington National Cemetery. It was a powerful and touching ceremony to witness. I also loved shopping around the mall with friends and free exploring museums with friends. DC was a super fun and exciting trip to put in the memory book.
