Narrow Defeat for Varsity Girls Basketball

On 12/7/22, the varsity girls basketball team took on Port St. Lucie High School at home in the Gonzalez-Lobo Activities Center. The Lady Pirates started the first quarter hot, building a 13-2 lead. At the end of the first half, the Lady Pirate lead dropped to 27-22. The Lady Jaguars tied the game late in the fourth quarter and took their game-winning shots in the final seconds to defeat the Lady Pirates 58-56.

Scoreboard highlights for the Lady Pirates: Dhanika Perez - 17 points, Gaby Collazo - 13 points,  Chase Nelson - 12 points, Adterria Holloway - 8 points, Taylor Wolfe - 4 points, and Sommer Soderman - 2 points.

 
Next game is at home on 12/9/22 versus Calvary Christian Academy of Port St. Lucie, starting at 5:30 PM in the Gonzalez-Lobo Activities.
