MS Girls Basketball's Blue Team Stuns Lady Stingrays

On 12/9/22, the blue team for middle school girls basketball faced off in a rematch against Storm Grove Middle School at home in the Wachter Activities Center. An intense 1st quarter saw the Lady Pirates down by 6 points, but the Lady Pirates offense took charge by halftime. In the second half, the Lady Pirates pulled away and never looked back. The team defeated the Lady Stingrays 36-28 to increase their season record to 5-0.

Amajyn Cannon dominated the court for the Lady Pirates, scoring 18 points and touching the ball roughly 80% of the time during the Lady Pirates' possession.  Leah Chin, Mackenzie Mostoller and Avonti Jennings each netted 4 points apiece and helped secure the Lady Pirate win.

 
Next game is at home on 1/5/23 versus Morningside Academy, starting at 4:00 PM in the Wachter Activities Center.
