Varsity Girls Basketball Takes Down Morningside

The varsity girls basketball team hosted Morningside Academy on 1/5/23 in the Gonzalez-Lobo Activities Center. Playing well as a team, the Lady Pirates shut down the Lady Eagle offense to conquer their opponents on the court 46-30.

Chase Nelson led the Lady Pirates on the floor with 14 points and contributed crucial rebounds. Having her best game of the season was Taylor Wolfe who netted 10 points for the Lady Pirates and grabbed many rebounds as well. Playing outstanding defense for the Lady Pirates, Gaby Collazo collected 12 points for the team. Also putting up points toward the Lady Pirate victory were Adterria Holloway with 8 and Dhanika Perez with 2.

 
Next game is away on 1/6/23 at Atlantic Christian School in West Palm Beach, starting at 5:30 PM.
