MS Boys Basketball's Grey Team Travels to The Benjamin School

In their first game of 2023, the grey team for middle school boys basketball traveled to Palm Beach Gardens on 1/10/23 to take on The Benjamin School. The Pirates jumped out to an early lead with 11-9 after the first quarter and outscored the Buccaneers in quarter 2 to take a 15-12 lead into the half. The Pirates trailed in the 3rd quarter, only scoring 2 points, and fell short in the 4th quarter. The Pirates narrowly lost to the Buccaneers 26-33.

Dylan Colontrelle netted 8 points, including 2 big threes in the 4th quarter, while teammate Bobby Varricchio scored 5 points for the Pirates including a 3-pointer in the 4th quarter. Chris Campbell and Reid Morris each tallied 4 points. Robert Williams added 3 points for the team, and Syrus Cooper chipped in 2 points. 

 
Next game is at home on 1/13/23 against Imagine Schools at South Vero, starting at 5:00 PM in the Wachter Activities Center.
