Close Game for Varsity Girls Basketball
The varsity girls basketball team traveled to Port St. Lucie to face off against Port St. Lucie High School on 1/10/23. Although they were down by 12 at the half, the Lady Pirates rallied in the second half to outscore the Lady Jaguars 23-13. The Lady Pirate team narrowly fell to their opponents 35-37.
Gaby Collazo led the Lady Pirates on the scoreboard with 15 points. Dhanika Perez sank 7 points, and Taylor Wolfe netted 6 points. Also scoring for the team were Chase Nelson (3), Sommer Soderman (2), and Adterria Holloway (2).
