Dhanika Goes to State
Dhanika Perez, Alto Saxophone, was selected to participate in the Florida Music Educators Association's High School Honor Band. Top level students from all over the state traveled to Tampa, Florida to form a full Concert Band. After three days of rehearsal, the band performed a stunning concert with works by Scott Burma, Julie Giroux and Vittoria Giannini, to name a few. Alex Kaminsky, the clinician, is the Associate Professor at VanderCook College of Music. He is a Conn-Selmer Educational Clinician and taught at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.
