Varsity Girls Basketball Overcomes Lady Knights
The varsity girls basketball team hosted The Pine School on 1/13/23 in the Gonzalez-Lobo Activities Center. Extending their winning streak, the Lady Pirates vanquished the Lady Knights on the court 39-23.
The Lady Pirates were led in scoring by Aiala Ruiz de Arbulo Sagasti with 17 points, who was playing in her second game since being sidelined by injury in the first game of the season. Adterria Holloway netted 8 points for the Lady Pirates, and Gaby Collazo tallied 7. Also scoring in the Lady Pirate victory were Chase Nelson (3), Taylor Wolfe (2), and Amajyn Cannon (2).
