Grey/Navy Team for MS Girls Basketball Ends Season Undefeated
On 1/19/23, the combined grey/navy team for middle school girls basketball traveled to Master's Academy of Vero Beach for their final game of the season. The game was close throughout as 17 different Lady Pirate athletes touched the floor. The Lady Pirates overcame the Lady Patriots 25-15 and secured their perfect season record of 8-0.
Sofi Argote had a strong game for the Lady Pirates with nearly 10 rebounds and 4 steals. Ten members of the Lady Pirates team scored points toward the win. Leadership throughout the season, but especially in the game against the Lady Patriots, came from Anastasia Headley, Nahlia Hebig, and Sophie Cooper, who all had major contributions to the final victory of the season.
