Varsity Boys Basketball Wins Thriller Over Tradition Prep

On 2/2/23, the varsity boys basketball team traveled to Port St. Lucie to take on Tradition Preparatory High School. A riveting game until the end, the Pirates ultimately walked away the victors with their 56-54 defeat of their opponents.

Gary Anderson led the Pirates on the court, netting 25 points and 11 total rebounds for the team. Nate Sparkman sank 10 points. Leading the Pirates in steals was Dylan Redmon, who also recorded 9 points on the floor. Andre Ferguson, who scored 5 points, brought 6 assists on the successful night for the Pirates. Also scoring for the Pirates were Eli Barin (2) and Wes Nobile (2).

 
Next game is the Class 2A District 13 Semifinals, starting at 7:00 PM in the Gonzalez-Lobo Activities Center.
