Varsity Boys Basketball Captures Senior Night Victory
On 1/30/23, the varsity boys basketball team hosted Cocoa Beach Jr./Sr. High School for Senior Night in the Gonzalez-Lobo Activities Center. A close game until the finish, the Pirates overcame the Minutemen to collect the 50-48 victory.
Nate Sparkman led the scoreboard for the Pirates with 17 points and 4 assists, followed closely by Gary Anderson with 16 points and 5 blocks. Collecting 6 points for the Pirate team, Dylan Redmon along with teammate Anderson helped the Pirates maintain possession with 9 rebounds apiece; and Ford Norris, Redmon, and Anderson all contributed 3 steals each. Also putting up points for the Pirate team were Sam Thomas with 5 points, Sean Stalheber with 3, and Eli Barin with 3.
