3D Designs in MS Tech Theatre

The students in the MS Tech Theatre class have been working to design and 3D print a series of Gobos, or circular patterns that are used in theatre lighting to create a wide variety of images on stage. The students used Tinkercad to create their first pattern, a free design Gobo (94mm in diameter and 1.3mm thick). Next, students again used Tinkercad to re-create a variety of patterns from the ancient world.
Pictured are students designing Gobos in Tinkercad and then testing the patterns with an ellipsoidal stage light.
