The varsity volleyball team traveled to Fort Pierce on 10/9/23 to take on John Carroll Catholic High School. The determined Pirates pushed past the Golden Rams on the court to win in 4 sets: 25-17, 25-17, 14-25, 25-17.
Paving the way for the Pirate victory were Makena Rodriguez with 10 kills, 1 assist, 3 aces, and 12 digs and Elliotte Kahler with 1 kill, 25 assist, and 12 digs. Meagan Baker amassed 5 kills, 4 digs, and 2 blocks for the Pirate team, and Natalee Rogers tallied 2 assists and 7 digs. CJ Fykes, who also recorded 6 kills, led the team in digs with 16, followed closely by Sommer Soderman with 14 digs and 2 kills. Alice Crean collected 3 kills and 4 digs on the win, and Khlieo Perez contributed 2 kills, 1 dig, and 1 block.
Next game is away on 10/12/23 versus Lincoln Park Academy, starting at 6:00 PM in Fort Pierce.
