Thrilling Comeback by MS Football in Season Closer

On 10/19/23, the middle school football team traveled to West Palm Beach to compete against Berean Christian School in the last game of the season. Despite facing early deficits of 6-0 and 12-8, the tenacious Pirate team fought back against the Bulldogs to ultimately upset their opponents 38-18.

Quarterback Kayleb Redmon threw for 3 touchdown passes and 3 2-point conversions for the Pirates. Redmon also rushed for a touchdown. Dylan Colontrelle collected 150 yards receiving for the Pirate team as well as a touchdown. Teammates Chris Campbell and Hugh Cochrane each caught a touchdown in the battle on the field. Chase Colontrelle caught two 2-point conversions for the Pirates, and Trip Williams caught one 2-point conversion. Spencer Davis dominated on defense to seal the Pirates' season-ending record at 5-1.
