Varsity Girls Basketball Subdues Jaguars

On 1/11/24, the varsity girls basketball team hosted Port St. Lucie High School in the Gonzalez-Lobo Activities Center in their first game of the new year. Working well together on the court, the Pirates took a 36-13 lead going into halftime. The Pirates kept he pressure on in the 2nd half to suppress the Jaguars on the court 64-38.

Gaby Collazo led the Pirates on the scoreboard with 18 points, followed closely by Dhanika Perez with 17. Chase Nelson sank 15 points for the team. Avonti Jennings recorded 10 points, and Caitlin Moscrip added 4.
 
Next game is at home on 1/12/24 versus John Carroll Catholic High School, starting at 5:30 PM in the Gonzalez-Lobo Activities Center.
