Varsity Boys Lacrosse Opens Regular Season with On-the-Road Victory

For their first game of the regular season, the varsity boys lacrosse team traveled to Vero Beach High School in Vero Beach on 2/13/24 to take on the Indians. The Pirates powered past their opponents on the field to bring home the 10-6 victory.

The team was led on the field by Reed Sternberg, with 5 goals and 2 assists. Connor O'Brien proved vital on the field, recording 2 goals and 4 assists. Goalie Kieran Colgan collected 13 saves on 19 shots on goal.

On the field stats for the Pirate team include 19 ground balls, 19 shots on goal, and 12 faceoff wins. 

Additional gameday highlights for the Pirates: Matthew Vatland - 1 goal; Luke Herrman - 1 goal; Harrison Hardin - 1 goal; and Keegan Nyman - 1 assist.
