Narrow Defeat in Varsity Boys Lacrosse Thriller

On 2/23/24, the varsity boys lacrosse team hosted Pope John Paul II High School at Pirate Stadium. The thrilling game of back-and-forth ultimately saw the Pirates overthrown by the Eagles 10-11.

Scoring goals for the Pirates were Connor O'Brien with 4, Luke Herrman with 2, Keegan Nyman with 2, Harrison Hardin with 1, and Reed Sternberg with 1. O'Brien also led in assists with 2, and teammate Hardin provided 1.

On-the-field stats for the Pirate team include 17 ground balls, 16 shots on goal, and 10 faceoff wins.
 
Next game is away on 2/2/24 at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, starting at 7:00 PM.
