Varsity Boys Lacrosse Falls to Tigers

The varsity boys lacrosse team traveled to Melbourne on 3/20/24 to take on the Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy Tigers. The Pirates fought hard on the field but were unfortunately defeated by their opponents 9-11.

Luke Herrman led the Pirates on the scoreboard with 4 goals and 1 assist. Reed Sternberg netted 2 goals for the Pirate team. Teammates Connor O'Brien and Will Russell tallied 1 goal and 1 assist each. Charlie Corrigan recorded 1 goal, and Matthew Vatland provided 1 assist. Keegan Nyman led the Pirates in faceoff wins with 16.

On-the-field stats for the Pirate team include 22 ground balls, 25 shots on goal, and 19 faceoff wins.
 
Next game is at home on 3/26/24 versus Bishop Moore High School, starting at 7:00 PM on the Michael J. Mersky Field.
