Varsity Cross Country Tackles Challenging Course at Pine School

The varsity boys and girls cross country teams traveled to Hobe Sound on 10/5/24 to take on the challenging sugar sand course at The Pine School. The girls team finished 7th place overall and the boys team finished 9th place overall.

In a field of 118 runners, Jacquelyn Perrin led the pack for the girls team finishing 12th individually. Stephanie Storts finished 29th, and teammate Cadence Callaghan followed closely in 30th. Isabella Peter placed 48th and Emma Ramsey finished 54th to round out the scoring points for the Pirate team.

In a field of 179 runners, Jack Curley paced the boys team, coming in 20th place. Bobby Campbell finished 42nd for the Pirates. Jamin Dunham placed 61st, Spencer Taft finished 69th, and Aiden Bryant completed the scoring points for the boys in 72nd place.
 
Next meet is away on 10/19/24 at the Sebastian River Invite, starting at 7:30 AM at Sebastian River High School in Sebastian.
