Varsity Volleyball Clinches Season Opening Game at LPA

On 8/26/25, the varsity volleyball team kicked off their regular season gameplay, traveling to Fort Pierce to take on Lincoln Park Academy. The Pirates came ready to play, securing a close first set win 25-20 over the Greyhounds. They put their opponents away 25-13 in the second set and maintained a 25-20 third set to clinch the victory.

Margaret Fykes proved a force to be reckoned with on the court, tallying 2 aces, 22 assists, 3 kills, and 8 digs. Makena Rodriguez led the Pirates in kills with 22 and provided 5 digs. Grace Fykes put up 2 aces, 2 assists, and 3 digs, and Grace Clemente netted 1 ace, 1 block, and 6 kills. Helping keep the ball in motion for the Pirates, CJ Fykes provided 1 assist, 4 digs, and 3 kills. On attack for the Pirates, Alice Crean recorded 4 kills and 1 block, and teammate Khlieo Perez contributed 3 kills and 2 blocks. Maddie Moscrip added 1 ace and 1 assist in the successful night for the Pirate team.
 
Next game is at home on 8/27/25 versus Okeechobee High School, starting at 6:00 PM in the Gonzalez-Lobo Activities Center.
