  1. Do you have a favorite memory from when you were in elementary/middle/high school?
    • In sixth grade, Mr. Burtis built an entire history lesson around "Stairway to Heaven."
  2. What’s a fun fact your coworkers might not guess about you?
    • My birthday is July 4th!
  3. Share a book, movie or individual that’s had a meaningful impact on your life. In what ways has this shaped your personal or professional journey?
    • Senior year of high school, I took a five-person Shakespeare seminar, and our teacher, Ms. Beasley, brought us to New York City for the evening so that we could go to Lincoln Center to watch a live performance of the play we were studying. The trust she showed in us and the magic she shared with us are a big part of why I teach English today.
  4. What are you most excited about this year at Saint Edward’s School?
    • I'm thrilled to be back! I look forward to getting to know the ninth grade, and to celebrating the senior class--my first group of students when I started back in 2022.
