Comeback by Varsity Football Stuns South Fork HS

The varsity football team went head-to-head with South Fork High School in Stuart on 10/17/15. The Pirates were off to a shaky start on the field against the Bulldogs, but rallied to erase a 15-point 3rd quarter deficit and surpass their opponents in the thrilling 16-15 victory.

After a scoreless first half, Dylan Colontrelle hit Connor O'Brien for the first touchdown of the game, and later followed it up with a rushing touchdown.  Following a huge special teams play from Seamus Moylan, the offense set up Reid Durham for what would be the game-winning field goal. Thanks to a perfect snap from Jackson Parker and a great hold from Dylan Colontrelle, kicker Durham hit the 27 yard field goal perfectly. The defense led by O'Brien, Seorim McLendon, and Merrit Kennedy shut down an aggressive Bulldog-run game.

Next game is Senior Night on 10/24/25 versus Master's Academy of Vero, starting at 6:00 PM in Pirate Stadium.
