Student Creations: Angels Through the Ages

Angels have been an enduring subject throughout the history of Western art, appearing across various movements and media for centuries. Ms. Raymond's advanced eighth-grade art students looked at a variety of sources, from "Angels of the Annunciation" to putti/cherubs for inspiration. They were allowed to draw an homage or create their own angels. Students further developed these images into larger format digital posters as decorations for Lessons & Carols. We wish everyone peace and joy in this holiday season!
