Varsity Boys Tennis Overthrows Patriots on Court
The varsity boys tennis team traveled to Vero Beach Tennis & Fitness Club on 2/12/26 to take on Master's Academy of Vero. In well-fought matches through the end, the Pirates emerged the ultimate victors over the Patriots 4-3.
Winning singles matches for the Pirates were #1 Jose Robledo Pretelt (8-1) and #2 James Peponis (8-5).
The Pirates' fate fell to the deciding doubles match-ups as the #1 doubles team (Robledo Pretelt/Peponis) saw an easy 8-2 victory, and the #2 doubles team of Nick Weise and Alex Mira secured an 8-5 win to push the Pirates ahead of their opponents.
Winning an exhibition singles matches for the Pirates were Christian Peter (8-5) and Mikey Ladd (8-0).
