Varsity Boys Lacrosse Succeeds Over Martin County


The varsity boys lacrosse team traveled to Stuart on 2/24/26 to go up against Martin County High School. The Pirates saw themselves tied with the Tigers at the end of the 1st quarter but pulled ahead 6-5 by halftime.  Breaking away in the 3rd quarter, the Pirates improved the score to 10-7. The Pirates overcame the Tigers' attempted comeback in the 4th quarter to secure the victory 11-10.

Connor O'Brien led the charge on the scoreboard for the Pirate team with 4 goals, followed closely by Brady McCoy with 3 goals. Chris Campbell nabbed 2 goals, and Turner Barnett put forth 1 goal and 1 assist. Charlie Corrigan added 1 goal toward the Pirate victory. Jackson Parker was relentless at the line for faceoffs, collecting 11 wins. Bobby Varricchio recorded a faceoff win as well. Edwin Provancher made 10 saves at the net.

Additional Pirate gameday stats include 11 groundballs and 15 shots on goal.
 
Next game is at home on 2/26/26 at home versus American Heritage of Plantation, starting at 4:00 PM in Pirate Stadium.
