The Pearl - An Inside Look at Oysters
Our sixth-grade super scientists brought The Pearl by John Steinbeck to life! They explored the vital role oysters play in the Indian River Lagoon ecosystem, dissected oysters to study their anatomy, and are now designing and engineering model oyster reef structures to help preserve our precious Indian River Lagoon.
