Shaniya Bryant: Senior Spotlight

1. When did you start at SES?
  • 2022 - 9th Grade
2. What were your favorite classes and/or extracurriculars?
  • Basketball, Cheer, Breaking Barriers Club
3. What’s an unforgettable memory from school?
  • Our freshman year class trip to the worst place in Florida, Warren Willis. If the bugs didn't get you the repulsive food did. (Excluding the breadsticks and red velvet cake) But our grade made it through and grew together through the fun games, class banner, and bonfires with stale graham crackers. Through it all, I felt closer to my peers, so I guess it wasn't all bad.
4. Give a shoutout to your favorite class, teacher, mentor or coach.
  • Shout out to Mrs. Holloway who listened and advocated for me throughout my entire four years at Saint Edward’s. She never made me feel like I was mistaken or being dramatic in situations when I expressed my feeling. She is the most welcoming person on campus, and I wouldn’t have made it through the years without her.
5. What’s one piece of advice you’d give to an underclassman?
  • Procrastination is your worst enemy, get the work, and get it done because deadlines sneak up on you.
