Winning Streak Continues for Varsity Baseball with Victory over Tigers

The varsity baseball team played Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy at home on 3/30/26 on Blue Diamond Field. The Pirates won 11-1 against the Tigers, thanks in part to 6 runs in the 1st inning: Reid Morris tripled, scoring 1 run; Nolan Ange singled, scoring 1 run; Jack Torresson doubled, scoring 1 run; Braylon Kirkland doubled, scoring 1 run; and Trey Dunlap doubled, scoring another run.

Torresson earned the win for the Pirate team on the mound. The starting pitcher allowed 2 hits and 1 run over 4 innings, striking out 5 and walking 1. Caden Freedman threw 1 inning of zero-run ball for the Pirates in relief. The pitcher gave up 0 hits and had no walks. 

Saint Edward's had a strong offensive night and amassed 10 hits in the game. Ange collected 3 hits in 3 at bats and stole 3 bases, and Morris recorded 2 hits in two at bats.
