Varsity Girls Lacrosse Named District Runners-Up
On 4/16/26, the varsity girls lacrosse team faced The Benjamin School in Pirate Stadium for the Class 1A District 13 Final. The fiercely competitive battle through the end saw the Pirates fight gallantly on the field but, heartbreakingly, fall to the Buccaneers at the end, 7-8, earning the Pirates the District Runner-up trophy.
Margaret Fykes led the Pirate scorers with 2 goals and 1 assist. Tallying 1 goal and 1 assist each were Grace Fykes and Lily O'Brien. Also providing 1 goal apiece were Caitlin Moscrip, CJ Fykes, and Kelly Lynch. Maddie Moscrip had 7 saves at the goal.
