Reese Fox: Senior Spotlight

1. When did you start at SES?
  • 9th Grade (2022)
2. What were your favorite classes and/or extracurriculars?
  • Art, Band, Choir, field trips
3. What’s an unforgettable memory from school?
  • Manhunt during the junior year class trip
4. Give a shoutout to your favorite class, teacher, mentor or coach.
  • Mrs. Rowland, Ms. Raymond, Mrs. George, Mrs. Barnes -- Thank you for always believing in me and pushing me towards my potential. You are all so good at what you do, and your classes have shaped who I am today.
5. What’s one piece of advice you’d give to an underclassman?
  • High school and college are the times when you make lore to tell your kids. Make sure you do that. Do your work, avoid missing assignments--the work will help you do better on the test. If you are eager to learn, take AP classes, especially English and History. They will help you so much in the future to be a better writer and to be more contemplative with your own thoughts and ideas; AP English and History classes make you into a critical thinker, and the English and History teachers here at Saint Edward’s are some of the best. Take one more AP class aside from history and english that you thoroughly enjoy or are interested in because of the subject. These teachers are also some of the best at what they do, and you can amplify your affinity for any subject you might be interested in.
