Bruno Barreirinhas: Senior Spotlight

1. When did you start at SES?
  • 5th Grade
2. What were your favorite classes and/or extracurriculars?
  • Biology, Soccer, Golf
3. What’s an unforgettable memory from school?
  • Playing ping-pong with my friends senior year and playing overly-competitive games during P.E. in middle school.
4. Give a shoutout to your favorite class, teacher, mentor or coach.
  • I strongly believe every teacher that I had the privilege learning from has shaped me into the person I am today. I would like to thank Mrs. Buckley, specifically, for teaching about the thing I am most interested in, the human body, and for making every class educating and interesting. I would also like to thank Mrs. Rowland for teaching me two math classes in the same year and for being my homeroom advisor. Last but not least, I want to thank Mr. Tuna for making Physics a class where my classmates and I could learn real-world applications of science. It is evident that he has an immense amount of patients by the way he handles our often off-topic question and in-depth philosophical conspiracies.
5. What’s one piece of advice you’d give to an underclassman?
  • Do not take any moment in high school for granted and keep friends and family close to you. "Time flies", so make the most of these 4 years.
