Last Horse Show of the School Year for Varsity Equestrian Alcalay

Sophomore varsity equestrian Freddie Alcalay and her trusted steed, Perry Girl, had another successful show at the 2026 ESP Spring Series 4 at Wellington International in Wellington recently.  After a smooth warm-up in the .90s to pull in a 2nd place finish, Alcalay and Perry Girl then crushed the 1.0 meter, ahead of all of their 24 competitors by 7 seconds.  The duo finished the show winning 3rd of 16 and 4th of 14 while putting down speedy, clear rounds.  They were crowned reserve champions at the meter level, securing an invitation to the regional championships this summer in Tryon, NC.
