SES Art Students Celebrate Black History Month

In honor of Black History Month, our art students created a powerful collection celebrating influential figures who have shaped American history. A highlight of the collection, as seen in the cover photo, is a collaborative portrait of Martin Luther King Jr., brought to life through bold colors and expressive patterns. The piece was initiated by Blair Moore ’28 and evolved as Art I classmates added their own creative elements.

We invite you to explore the full gallery and celebrate the inspiring work of our students.

Inside Admissions: A Q&A with College Directors (Previously known as College Night with the Deans)

All college-bound students and families of Indian River County are invited to Inside Admissions: A Q&A with College Directors on Monday, January 26, at 7 p.m. in the Waxlax Center for the Performing Arts.

Top admissions representatives from FSU, Lafayette College, the University of Miami, the University of Michigan and Vanderbilt University will participate in a panel discussion. These schools represent a mix of in-state and out-of-state, public and private institutions, offering insight into a variety of admissions programs and processes.

Following the panel, the floor will be open for audience Q&A, so attendees are encouraged to come prepared with questions.

This free event is open to the public, and families are welcome to invite friends to attend. We look forward to seeing you there!
