World Language Teachers Attend ACTFL Conference

The week before Thanksgiving, our Chinese and Spanish faculty traveled up to Washington D. C. to attend the 2019 ACTFL ( American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages) conference held at the Water E. Washington Convention Center. On Sunday, November 24th, Dr. Bao presented on the topic, "Performing Arts, Literacy Space for L2 Language Learners and Native Speakers" to a multilingual audience. The four energetic and fun-loving "iron ladies" brought back with them many innovative L2 (Second Language) teaching ideas. They can't wait to try and share these newly-learned skills in their Chinese and Spanish classrooms. Go, Lady Pirates!
