(lk)
Did you know that our mental health is directly linked with our capacity to express gratitude and have positive emotions? When we make a habit of being grateful and recognizing the positive things in our lives, it is like a domino effect where our stress levels decrease, our relationships strengthen and we can often start feeling other emotions like joy and happiness. Research even shows us the importance of why schools are a great place to teach gratitude (keep bringing in those cans for the food drive and get ready for the Angel Tree event!). Beyond schools, families are arguably the most important foundation for teaching these life lessons. Here are 25 prompts to get you talking about gratitude with your child. If you have any questions or want more strategies, please reach out to your counseling team! Mrs. Borkovic and Ms. Mahovetz are here.
